Well as if the PR nightmare couldn't get any worse for Zynga they have confirmed that if you want LIVE Chat Support you must spend money on the game to get it. WTF !!!
Games.com just released a story confirming this and even the Community Manager / TerriHelper from Farmville has confirmed this is true with a post about it on the forums.
I know in the Mafia Wars Community alot of non paying players have not been able to get through to LIVE Support while all their friends have so this explains alot.
This is probably the worst thing Zynga can do to their already angry player base that is continually shrinking everyday due to the many game issues that go unanswered by the traditional email support tickets. Bad move Zynga !!!
LIVE Support should be available to everyone regardless of whether you spend money on a FREE game on the Facebook platform or not. This is True discrimination and maybe just cause for possible lawsuits in the future as they advertise the game as a FREE game to everyone, so support should be available to all equally.

Live chat is worthless the people there have no clue what they are doing or are not authorized to help.

ReplyDeleteif true, this is a v.wrong decision, all players must be treated equally regardless of whether they pay or not + all must hv equal opportunity in the game. live chat must be available to each and every mw player. period.
