Facebook & Zynga Hear Us Roar !!!
Hi everyone I'm back. Lets get right to it today.
As most of you have seen alot of people are getting accounts disabled lately. It is getting ridiculous !!! Facebook needs to wake up and stop being so ANTI - SOCIAL. They dont tell you why and like I said in my previous blog their computer decides to disable them. Most of this is due to over posting but we now have a new trend going on where the clans who are fighting in wars in order to knock out the top players or fighters they are now reporting them to Facebook and Zynga for being abusive and targeting them unfairly in order to win the war.
This is absolute bull crap. If you cant win, dont fight in the war or just dont war. You are taking the fun out of the game and are affecting peoples lives who put lots of time and effort into the game & in some cases lots of money. These clans then go to Zynga after they complain to Facebook and send proof they were beat up a number of times and Zynga send them a letter apologizing for it and then gives them reward points to compensate them for the unpleasant experience with the game. WHAT A CROCK !!!
But I am happy to say Facebook & Zynga are FINALLY catching on to them. According to reps from both they now see the trend and are taking measures to fix this by not doing anything to accounts until they look at them first before disabling them. Facebook is also changing the settings on their computers to a higher threshold so this doesn't happen anymore and will be looking at both accounts now and check the activity and see if this is really warranted. ABOUT TIME !!!
While Facebook will never tell you what you did to warrant getting your account disabled it is a step in the right direction. Hopefully this will stop soon. But they need to become more social and less Big Brother.
Ok on to Zynga. ZYNGA, ZYNGA, ZYNGA what the hell are you doing? The month of May has got to be the worst I have ever seen. You literary can mess up a wet dream. I mean my 8 year old cousin can do a better job with coding and changing things than you have done.
There have more issues in May than ever before not to mention the changes to the game. When are you going to learn. And this is not just regulated to Mafia Wars but to all your games. You have created more glitches and bugs than a gremlin could ever do. What happened did DeVry run out of people for you to hire or are you now going to the University of Bob to hire your programmers.
Look I realize there is alot of work you have to put into the all the games. I even realize that it is not easy to get everything done as fast as we would like. But some of the stuff is simple like the gifting, either make it all in the games or all in Facebook but make up your mind which one finally. And as far as the pop ups I already suggested what you could do there, make a banners like you do for the mystery bags & the crappy Crime Spree and just have the sales and stuff you want to promote scroll across with click-able links that take you to the market place. It really is a simple solution to pop ups and you always have the marketplace items in our view and front and center. Not Bad Huh !!!
Now just so you all know some things that are going on can be fixed yourself. How you ask, well here are some tips and I am not saying they always work but here you go :
